Bridal Show: Betina's at Parkview

Not only was I lucky enough to have my first show at Ram's Head Inn but I was asked to team up with Betina's at Parkview, an amazing florist out of South Jersey. We wanted to set up an entire table at the show, with all the trimmings: specialty tablecloths, napkins & chair covers, menus, place cards, table numbers & floral arrangements. I really think it turned out beautiful! We went with a pink & taupe theme with a hint of coral, adding crystals & pearls for that extra sparkle.

Bridal Show: Rams Head Inn

I have to say... today was an awesome day! Just Be. debuted at the Ram's Head Inn bridal show today and it went great! I have been doing my business as a side job from my home for a bit now, but today was the first day I showed it to the public. It was so nice to meet all of the brides and their friends & family, and I am really looking forward to what the next few months have in store for me. Baby Shower: Beach/Surf

I know it has been awhile since I have posted, and I apologize for that. The blog and my Facebook page have taken off, much quicker than I ever thought they would and I am so thankful! A lot of the business I have received so far is from my amazing friends referring their friends to me and I just need to take a second and say THANK YOU! The new brides I have met are the sweetest things ever and I can not wait to work with each of them on the biggest day of their life.

I have also been pretty busy with showers, both baby & bridal.

We were going for a very fun, bright, beach themed baby shower for a super fun surf couple. 

Baby showers are always pretty when they are sweet pastel colors, 

but don't be scared to go bright & bold!

Wedding Collection: Super Script

With an upcoming bridal show at Ram's Head Inn, I wanted to make sure I have plenty of samples that show the diversity of my work. I also decided that I need to display various full wedding collections, such as the one included in this post. At Just Be. a "full wedding collection" includes(but is not limited to): Save the Date, Invitation, Response Card, Program, Table Number, Escort Card & Thank You Card. A lot of brides like all of their wedding stationary to match, but whats the fun in everything being exactly the same? By switching up placement, foreground & background color & size, a beautiful collection can be created. Check out the one I just completed!

Bridal Show: Rams Head Inn

I received some amazing news yesterday! I am going to be featured in my first bridal show ever! I have been working at bridal shows for over 5 years now, but this will be my first time representing myself, and a HUGE debut for Just Be. I can not wait to design my table & display and show brides what I am all about! Thank You Cards iii

Here is another set of Thank You cards! Some are better than others but I am simply trying to build my portfolio right now. I think the one with the bow may become my official Just Be. Thank You card! If you are looking for personalized note cards, email me! They are such a nice thing to have at your desk when you go to write a note or a thank you!

Save The Dates: Katie & Scott

As you may recall, I did Katie & Scott's engagement photos at Oyster Creek Inn. If you haven't seen them, go back a few posts and check them out! It was a perfect day with perfect lighting with a perfect couple! 

After their shoot, it was time to start working on Save The Date cards to send out to guests. If you aren't familiar with the function of a Save The Date card, it is used to let your guests know about your wedding approximately 6 months ahead of time, since invitations do not go out until a few months before the big day. Mostly it is for out of town guests to begin their travel plans, but they're also just something else fun you get to do for your wedding! 

Katie was so much fun to work with on this project! She is so excited about her wedding, its theme and colors, but she didn't want to give away the secret yet. So we decided to go with a classic brown & pale blue to compliment their photographs. We also decided to take that extra step to make the envelopes stand out with beautiful labels. It is the little details that people notice, and it really makes a difference!

Ok, something you will learn about me quickly is that I don't go to sleep until at least 2am every day. Once I get something in my head, it needs to happen before I can shut my brain off to be able to sleep. So with that being said... here is another series of Thank You cards. Enjoy!

Thank You Cards

I recently got a request for a series of Thank You cards. 

I have not started the order yet, but in the mean time 

I decided to play with one I had made for a baby shower this month. 

I played with font, color & theme and came up with the 6 below. 

Hopefully by tomorrow I will have another series done. 

I am trying to build my portfolio right now and this is an awesome way to do it!

Business Cards

Well... that was exciting. Just ordered my first batch of official business cards! I never thought designing business cards would be so stressful but this is really all people may know about me, so they had to be just right. I went for simple but stylish with a touch of vintage glam. So.... what do you think?
